FUSED is an opportunity for men to share the Christian path together both here at Highfields and across S Wales. As Christian men in the world we know how tough it can be so FUSED will help bring us together, share our experiences and concerns and give men a much needed secure place to grow together in God’s likeness. FUSED stands for many things but encompasses the following:

F - to have Fellowship, Friendship and Fun together

U - to Use and develop all our gifts to God’s glory and the blessing of others

S - to Support each other, Serve and Share together and Show Jesus through our lives

E - to Evangelise, getting the gospel to a needy world especially to the world of men

D - to grow as Disciples showing a Godly example to this and future generations

Perhaps you feel that something for men in our churches today is vital and hopefully these aims will excite you and you will want to be part of FUSED. Please feel very welcome, the door is wide open and we look forward to seeing you at our various main events as shown below which we will advertise as we get closer to each event. We will also have some off the cuff stuff from time to time e.g. a ten pin bowling night, where we will simply send an email or make you aware and you can simply turn up if you wish.

Saturday 27th March	Cardiff Men’s Convention 2010 http://www.cardiffmensconvention.org.uk/ 2010 sees the Cardiff Men’s Convention once again taking over the St David’s Hall in the heart of the city. Last year we had a truly amazing day with nearly 1100 men praising God and proclaiming the gospel. Monday May 17th	"Dare to be different" with guest speaker Lyndon Bowring Executive Chairman of CARE @ Highfields
Monday June 14th or Saturday 12th TBC	It's a knockout - open to all
Summer - TBA	Likely to include canoeing/biking/beach volley ball
27th - 29th July	Helping set up CCIW camps Christian Camp work is so important and we can all play a part. We need volunteers to help set up a large CCIW camp where we can all help do invaluable kingdom work and share the blessing of seeing youngsters have a great time and be saved. The scenery is stunning and the fellowship and friendships developed wonderful too. There will be no costs unless you drive yourself up, the family can come, tents will be provided along with meals. if you can help then please either email us or let Rhys Evans know direct on 07934510092

FUSED is only just starting on a formal basis so we trust you will bear with us as we take our first steps and grow together. Most importantly pray for God’s blessing upon us as we come together and try to meet many differing wants and needs. We know we won’t get everything right first time, or keep everyone happy every time but if we are willing to get involved with that Godly attitude that asks “what can I give” rather than the worldly “what can I take” we are sure with God’s help that we will all be blessed for being part of and FUSED together.
